Your guests will be fully immersed in the great outdoors.
When Emily and I had our first meeting, I knew I had a TRUE outdoor enthusiast on my hands. She had so subtly mentioned in our meeting that the following day she would be heading to Nepal for a month long hiking trip. When she arrived home we planned to fully immerse ourselves in the outdoors for their engagement session. Nothing was off limits as they swam in Alouette lake and cliff jumped into the river.
Their wedding day was no different. From charming rustic cabins in the heart of the cascades to beautiful mountain lodges with stunning views of Mount Frosty and beyond, the couple’s accommodations served as a perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. They chose to do their first look, wedding party photos, and family photos in the alpine meadows of Manning Park. It truly felt like we were on top of the world. After we finished there, we headed down the mountain to Lightening Lake where the ceremony was held. Though the wind was at high speeds that day, it made mother nature even more beautiful.
I have never heard so much laughing during a ceremony. I loved it! Both families oozed joy as the couple said their nuptials (more like roasts). I could quickly tell that family was their number one priority when it came to their wedding plans. Emily and Eli were getting married on August 25th, Emily’s parents anniversary as well as her siblings wedding anniversary. Lastly, Emily had mentioned she didn’t want your standard family photos. She wanted photos that really showed who their family was- silly, authentic, and joyful. It was so fun to step out of the box and try something fun and new for them! Emily and Eli were the perfect example of designing a wedding around who they are as a couple and everything they love in life. Congrats you two!
