I had the pleasure to head to one of Washington beautiful state parks, Deception Pass, for Beca and Greg’s engagement session. I’ve learned it can be hard to pick the perfect engagement photo spot in Washington, because there is so much opportunity! What a great problem to have right? But when they landed on Deception Pass State Park I was screaming a little inside. What a dream come true!

I drove down from Vancouver on the Friday afternoon and it poured rain the entire time. I was so nervous as we were not able to reschedule. But the weather gods were on our side and the minute I parked the rain completely stopped for the rest of the evening. We started the session down at Rosario Beach and the sand was so soft like you would find in California. They danced around and soaked in the evening. We even had a photo bomber with dinner in his mouth in one of the rock images… can you spot him?
