Nestled in the heart of the Fraser Valley, Cannon Estate Winery offers a breathtaking view of lush vineyards and sweeping views of the mountains. When it came down to choosing their venue, it was an obvious choice for Morgan and Jake as Jake is actually a winemaker at Cannon Estate Winery. In Morgan’s inquiry to me she mentioned it was going to be an elegant event, but wanted it to still be super fun. It was exactly those two things.

Morgan and Jake started their day saying their (family only) private vows under an oversized willow tree. It was straight out of a fairytale. Tears were shed and laughter rain. Next the vineyard served as the perfect canvas for their ceremony, and it wasn’t long before everyone gathered to witness the couple exchange more vows that were as beautiful as the surroundings.

After the ceremony everyone dispersed to cocktail hour and lawn games. As we moved into the reception, one of the unique highlights of this wedding was the food truck experience. Rather than the traditional sit-down dinner, the newlyweds chose to embrace a more casual, fun approach with a gourmet Mexican food truck Tacofino. Guests could choose from a variety of mouthwatering tacos. The food truck brought a fun and modern twist to the wedding.

As the sun began to set, the energy of the evening shifted to the open dance floor and everyone was soon dancing under the stars.
